Usage Guide

Download "QuickPass" (云闪付) from the App Store or Google Play (search "QuickPass" or "UnionPay")

Register with your phone number (international numbers supported — you will receive an SMS verification code)

Bind your bank card (supports UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard — enter card number and verification details as prompted)

Verify your identity with your passport (take a photo of your passport info page — required for some features)

Enable NFC Flash Pay (go to Settings, ensure your phone NFC is turned on, and set your default payment card)

Try QR code payment at a convenience store (show your payment code to the cashier, or scan the merchant QR code)

Set up a transit card (go to the "Travel" section and activate the transit QR code for your city — scan when entering stations)

Pro Tips
- UnionPay cards have the lowest fees in China — use the UnionPay channel whenever possible for the best rates
- NFC Flash Pay is faster than QR codes — simply tap your phone at any supported POS terminal
- Most ATMs in China display the UnionPay logo and accept overseas UnionPay cards for cash withdrawal
- The transit card feature covers 300+ cities — activate your destination city in the app before traveling
- QuickPass is a great backup to WeChat Pay and Alipay, especially at merchants that only accept UnionPay
- Some merchants (subway ticket machines, vending machines) may only accept UnionPay payments
- Check your linked card's daily transaction limit to avoid being declined on larger purchases
